May 6, 2012 / Going To Miami / Be Right Back :)
This is just a note: I’ll be shooting a destination wedding this week in Miami, then I have an Orlando wedding on Saturday. I’ll be returning your messages as soon as I can!
When I return there will be full wedding releases and some new things to show you. For now, the wedding bells are ringing and I must be on my way!

March 9, 2012 / This is just the beginning.
Guess what?

I am 15 weeks pregnant! Our sweet little one is due the first week of September. Daniel and I are beyond thrilled to have a wiggly Virgo on the way. And we’ll know if our baby is a boy or girl by the end of April. I want to decorate in all shades of blue whether we have a Miss or Mister since it’s the color of September’s birthstone. Plus I am just really drawn to bright blue ever since I found out I was pregnant on New Year’s Day. Blue is speaking to me! (Cereal is speaking to me too, and milk with chocolate Nesquik, and… Tijuana Flats chicken flautas, and… all kinds of fruit juice.)

Daniel took these photos! This is so very special to me even though he isn’t in them. We’ll have some of us together when I’m farther along. You know, I am starting to wonder just how big this bump is going to be!
I also wanted to announce how this will change my photography world this year. My last weddings will take place in May. From June 1 until next year I will not book any weddings. I am sure it’s good luck to have a pregnant woman photographing your wedding in many countries, but I have no idea how I’ll feel. : ) I’ll be doing regular portrait sessions for as long as I can though! So feel free to contact me but my fall schedule will be a little full with a little tiny bundle.
September 8, 2011 / Can’t wait for fall
A little creative downtime this afternoon – berries and texture were inspiration.

February 14, 2011 / A Trip to NYC
For Valentine’s Day weekend we met up with friends in NYC and had a blast. We packed a lot of sights (and a lot of walking) into mostly two days: Grand Central Terminal, Brooklyn Bridge, Little Italy, Chinatown, Koreatown, Bronx (long story), Times Square, Stephen A. Schwarzman Building (the public library), Central Park, West Village, East Village and there’s probably more I’m forgetting. And oh, the food! From the best Korean nosh ever to yummy banana pudding from Magnolia Bakery. (Birds even nibbled the pudding from our fingers.) It was very fun and we can’t wait to go back! Here’s a ton of photos that I love from our trip, in a mix of vintage tones and vivid colors.
