Meet Orlando Photographer, Kayla Selans

Hello! I’m an on-location, natural light photographer here in Central Florida. I love what unique environments and pure light bring to photographs. And I’ve always looked at moments, even the most simple ones, in a different way. You could say I look at life as if through a lens even when I'm not behind the camera.
Please feel free to contact me and ask any questions about how we can dream up the perfect photos for you. Talk to you soon! :)

This sweet couple became husband and wife on Christmas Eve. Cassandra and Kevin are a fun, easy going pair and balance each other perfectly. They are both Internet superstars who geek out on a regular basis, but for their wedding they were able to relax and enjoy the gorgeous day. (One of the most beautiful days I think Florida has had all year.) In the photos below, you’ll be able to see that Kevin is more of the wild one and Cassandra is the serious one. ; ) Cassandra has the most beautiful smile (then again, all of my brides always do!) and in many of her photos I can imagine her as a little girl. You can probably spot those right away and you’ll be giggling with joy too. Adorable!
While editing their images, I did many in black in white tones to pull together timeless elements from the day such as the 1966 Ford Mustang convertible. Cassandra and Kevin, thank you so much for choosing me to document your beautiful wedding!

Wedding planners, event vendors and even photographers will tell you that location and details mean so much. Sometimes they get so lost in those details they nearly forget the most important part: the love between two people (and their family and friends). I find that it’s the people who really make the day special. Here’s a peek at a small and simple wedding held in Apopka at Kelly Park which I captured in the most intimate, memorable way. Two loving, happy families were brought together (not to mention their most adorable kiddos too).
