Meet Orlando Photographer, Kayla Selans

Hello! I’m an on-location, natural light photographer here in Central Florida. I love what unique environments and pure light bring to photographs. And I’ve always looked at moments, even the most simple ones, in a different way. You could say I look at life as if through a lens even when I'm not behind the camera.
Please feel free to contact me and ask any questions about how we can dream up the perfect photos for you. Talk to you soon! :)

Tips and Ideas : Orlando Pet Photographer
Even though I am a photographer, I am not a dog whisperer or a magician. (Although I am getting better at both!) I will capture natural expressions of your pet to the best of my ability every time. My goal is to create photos that can be transformed into lasting art. I will need your help sometimes to calm your pet or get them to make different, sweet faces.
Have your pet’s toys, bedding and any special objects out that you would like in the photos. If you pet likes to sleep on your bed for example, tidy up the room a little bit when you know I’m coming.
A great part of the beauty of a photograph is as much the surroundings as the subject! With that said, have any brightly colored blankets or toys out for sure. Colors make photos pop and give variety to all of the shots. Lastly, be prepared to walk around a lot if your pet is active. Pet photography, in my opinion, is the most physically challenging besides a 10-hour wedding!
For each additional pet photographed, please add $20 to the initial $175 session fee. This is due to the extra attention needed for each animal. Also keep in mind that editing will take up to 7 days after the day of the session. I always aim to be completed much faster though. Plus, depending on the mood of the session, I might be inspired to create different artistic versions for some of the images which increases editing time.
